Duke Manufacturing to Centralize Global Business Operations With Epicor

Epicor Software Corporation, a provider of enterprise business software solutions, has announced that food service equipment solutions provider, Duke Manufacturing, has selected the Epicor 9 next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.

With this implementation, Epicor will centralize Duke Manufacturing’s business operations, replacing its vastly disjoined information systems with a fully-integrated, single-source ERP solution. As a result, Duke Manufacturing will also enjoy a more streamlined business and IT infrastructure.

Headquartered in St. Louis, MO, Duke Manufacturing is a designer and manufacturer of equipment solutions specifically focused on the food-service industry. As a result of rapid growth and a successful expansion into global operations, Duke Manufacturing needed to invest in a business software solution that could deliver measurable benefits through streamlined processes.

After an evaluation of solutions available in the market that could meet the company’s needs, Duke Manufacturing selected Epicor for its ability to integrate the company’s operation into a single solution. At the same time, Epicor also offered an embedded global business management functionality that focused on capabilities that were multi-site, multi-company and multi-lingual, to support the company’s global initiatives.

David Marvel, COO of Duke Manufacturing, shared that the company has grown significantly in size and complexity. Duke Manufacturing has also broadened its international reach, demanding that the company centralize and standardize key business activities on a single data source. This focus enables the company to consolidate global operations and enjoy greater visibility so that strategic decisions can be effectively supported.

According to Marvel, Epicor provides Duke Manufacturing with the information system necessary to track everything from manufacturing operations to financials, all in one single solution. This focused approach allows the company to keep pace with its own growth and the demands of the industry, staying ahead of the curve.
