Further reinforcing its position as a leading ERP solution for upper mid-market companies with operations around the world, Sage ( (LSE: SGE), a leading business management software provider, is today announcing a raft of new global initiatives for Sage ERP X3 ( Bringing additional value to customers, these include a new premium global support service, a global implementation methodology for multi-country Sage ERP X3 deployments and a certification program for all consultants and business partners worldwide.

Global Support Hub

Under the new Sage ERP X3 Global Support service, customers will now have access to a centralized global support hub via a single contact point. This high quality service is available on request 24 hours a day, 5 days a week through a web-based platform. All support enquiries will be logged centrally and processed by Sage ERP X3 expert consultants around the world, providing a valuable overview of deployments across a number of countries and providing more coherent processing of customer requests. Sage is also in the process of globalizing Support Agreements and SLAs, streamlining, and further enhancing the support process.

Global Deployments

Meeting and managing the complex requirements of system implementations across multiple territories, the International Sage Implementation Global Methodology Approach (ISIGMA) provides a set methodology for the deployment of Sage ERP X3 from pre-sales to customer ‘go live’, maximizing the success of an international project roll out with minimum risk and disruption for customers.

ISIGMA comprises a central working group of global and local Sage ERP X3 experts – from project managers to consultants and developers – managing each project following a specific program of implementation and management steps. This will ensure that customers benefit from the valuable local knowledge of Sage operating companies and business partners as well as the global expertise of the international ERP team.

Global Consultant Certification

Sage is also now rolling out its Sage ERP X3 global certification process for all consultants involved in Sage ERP X3 projects. Managed and recognized globally, the certification process will require consultants within Sage and its business partners to undergo fundamental and advanced classroom-based training followed by a standard exam, after which they will be awarded Sage ERP X3 Certified Consultant Status. This expert level recognition provides customers with the assurance of a common level of expertise from the pre-purchase and evaluation stage to implementation and roll out of Sage ERP X3.
