Plex Systems Receives Best of SaaS Showplace Award

Plex Systems, Inc., today announced it has received a Best of SaaS Showplace (BoSS) Award in recognition of the quantifiable business results its software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution has brought to its user customers.
Users of Plex Systems’ SaaS solution, Plex Online, have cited measurable results in many forms.
For example, Magna Powertrain’s New Process Gear operation generated impressive financial results in the form of cost recoveries through the launch of a new supplier chargeback process enabled by Plex Online. Within the first 19 months after implementing Plex Online’s well-documented, easily accessible corrective action database that includes an automatic workflow for supplier chargebacks, this automotive supplier recovered an amount nearly double its investment cost in the entire system.
OKAY Industries has been growing at rates of more than 17 percent each year since it deployed the Plex Online solution in 2007. Sales grew 19 percent in 2008 alone. Plex Online also helped OKAY Industries improve its operating efficiency from 93 percent in 2006 to 97 percent in 2008. In 2006, OKAY Industries recorded on-time shipping of 99 percent. In 2008, the company recorded 99.6 percent on-time shipping.
With Plex Online, Jagemann Stamping Company was able to redeploy IT resources to continual improvement projects, generating savings of over $200,000 in the first three months alone.
