Plex Systems, Inc., today announced it has won a contract to provide Q4 Integral Group with Plex Online, the company’s software as a service (SaaS) ERP solution for manufacturers.

Minden, Nevada-based Q4 Integral Group is an ambient beverage manufacturer specializing in aseptic processing, primarily for private labels. Its main products are non-carbonated juices, drinks and private-label wine packaging. The company selected Plex Online for its third and newest plant, which launched production earlier this month. Plex Online is being implemented to monitor and manage the entire manufacturing and packaging operation, from arrival of the raw ingredients in tanker trucks, through aseptic filling in a sterilized air environment, to packing and distribution to wholesalers and retailers – and including quality management at every step of the process. The product may be lemonade, fruit juice or virtually any beverage imaginable.

“We look forward to the management capabilities that Plex Online will provide, along with the visibility the software system will give us into every aspect of our production,” said Q4 Integral Group Co-Founder Dean McKay, PhD. “The SaaS ERP solution allows us to invest in and focus on our core business – packaging beverages – rather than in hardware and IT support issues. Plex Online enabled us to quickly ramp up our manufacturing, supply chain, quality management and financial functions.”

“Q4 Integral Group is a forward-thinking company using advanced technologies to produce its products, so it’s natural for them to use an advanced ERP solution like Plex Online to manage their manufacturing processes and business operations,” said Tom Mackey, executive vice president, Plex Systems. “The food and beverage industry is changing rapidly, and older, legacy ERP systems were not designed to meet the requirements of today’s food and beverage manufacturers. Plex Online was designed from the ground up to meet these requirements, and to evolve rapidly and easily as requirements continue to change.”
