Lawson and Norway-Based Matiq Announce Partnership

Collaboration to bring choice, extended industry expertise, and solutions for Nordic food and beverage companies

OSLO, Norway (February 20, 2009) – Lawson Software today announced it has signed a service partner agreement with Matiq to provide increased services and support for Lawson M3 customers in the food industry, one of Lawson’s key target industry markets.

Matiq is a full-scale information technology company employing 100 people that offers a wide range of products and services, predominantly to the food manufacturing industry. It helps food customers like Nortura to efficiently deploy their IT infrastructure in support of its complex food supply chain. Nortura is Norway’s leading supplier of meat and eggs, with household brands such as Gilde and Prior.

Through its industry focus, product development and investment in the food industry, Lawson now serves more than 300 food and beverage customers worldwide with the Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System. The Lawson system is used by several Norway-based companies, including Hansa, Kavli, Nortura, Orkla, Tine and recently announced snack producer Estrella Maarud.
