ST. PAUL, Minn. (August 07, 2007) – Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN) today announced it signed a contract with Cardo AB, an international group of companies specializing in logistics systems, wastewater purification technology, residential garage doors and systems specifically designed for the wood pulp and paper industry. The group has offices in 30 countries and employs 5,900 employees. There are a number of strong brands within the group, including Crawford, ABS, and Lorentzon & Wettre. Cardo made a decision to standardize its systems with Lawson M3, which will replace several other systems, including a system developed in-house. Cardo expects the new system to help streamline its business processes and increase competitiveness. The group’s reliance on disparate business systems has created inefficient business processes. [
